DAY 3 : TOKYO→KANAZAWA
Take the bullet train to Kanazawa, a city known for its long history of traditional crafts, stunning landscape gardens, modern art, and a preserved geisha district. An English-speaking guide will meet you at Kanazawa station and take you on a 1-day tour throughout Kanazawa.

DAY 4 : KANAZAWA→AWARA ONSEN

The trip to Awara Onsen by private vehicle will include a stop at the Kutani-yaki Art Museum, Eiheiji Temple or Heisen-ji Hakusan Shrine. Awara Onsen in Fukui is one of the most famous hot spring towns in central Japan. Founded over 130 years ago, the area is renowned for its local cuisine, most notably its crab known as Echizen Gani (only available certain times of the year), various fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan, as well as produce from the Sakai Plain. Staying at a traditional Japanese ryokan in Awara Onsen allows you to enjoy the freshest local seafood for dinner!

DAY 5 : AWARA ONSEN → KYOTO

Today will be devoted to the traditional crafts of Fukui, with a stop by the workshops and studios of Japanese craftsmen living and working in Echizen. Afterwards, you will take the bullet train to Tsuruga before changing to an express train to the ancient capital of Japan–Kyoto.
