Japan Arts 12 Days
Intro: In the recent years, Japanese Art has been getting attention from both professionals and enthusiasts. This program is designed specifically to introduce some of the finest Arts that Japan has to offer. Since the entire program is focused on Art, there will be plenty of opportunities to see historic ones to modern arts, ranging from the conventional to more avant-garde.
Itinerary
Day1 Tokyo Upon your arrival at Narita Airport, please transfer to the hotel on your own.
Day2 Tokyo Private guided sightseeing in Tokyo that includes 21-21 Design Sight, Asakusa Kannon Temple with Nakamise and The National Museum of Western Art
Day3 Tokyo Your personal free time
Day4 Tokyo→Okayama→Naoshima Transfer to Tokyo or Shinagawa station with your guide, then proceed to Okayama by bullet train. Upon your arrival at Okayama Station, proceed to Naoshima Island. Upon your arrival you will be accompanied by our English Speaking guide
Day5 Naoshima With your guide, visit Art House Project, Chichu Art Museum and Ando Museum.
Day6 Naoshima→Takamatsu Proceed to Takamatsu by public transport, including a non-reserved local ferry. Upon your arrival in Takamatsu, a Private guided sightseeing tour in Takamatsu will begin. You will visit Shikoku-mura Art Village and Ritsurin Koen Park
Day7 Takamatsu→Osaka Leave Takamatsu and proceed to Osaka. Upon your arrival in Osaka, a private guided tour will begin. You will visit The Mint Museum and Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum
Day8 Osaka→Miho→Kyoto Private guided sightseeing to Miho. You will visit Miho Museum. Afterwards, you will proceed to Kyoto.
Day9 Kyoto Private guided sightseeing tour in Kyoto. You will visit Garden of Fine Art Kyoto, Raku Museum, Kyoto International Manga Museum and Ryukoku Buddhism Museum.
Day10 Kyoto→Odawara→Hakone Transfer to Kyoto station with your guide by public transport. Travel to Odawara by Bullet Train. Upon arrival at Odawara Station, you will be met by English speaking guide and start a private tour of Hakone. You will visit Hakone Open-Air Museum and Okada Museum of Art.
Day11 Hakone→Tokyo Transfer to Odawara Station with your guide. Travel to Shinagawa by Bullet Train. Upon arrival at Shinagawa Station, start a private tour in Tokyo. You will visit Nezu Museum and Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery
Day12 Tokyo Narita Departure Transfer to Narita Airport on your own.
