When you come to Japan, you want to enjoy hot springs. Mt.Tateyama is a part of an active volcano, and you can experience a good hot spring at Murodo. We prepared a package for you to enjoy the hot springs on this tour. The tour also includes hiking in Murodo plateau, where you can enjoy the seasonal views while walking. The view below from the bathtub is also wonderful. Sometimes you can overlook the sea of ​​clouds from the bathtub. Among the many hot springs in Japan, you can have a special experience here.
 
Difficulty Levels :   Easiest (Suitable for people of all ages who are in fair condition)
This tour does not require any special equipment for mountain climbing. However, we recommend that you bring long sleeve clothes and a hat. It may become useful if you have a windbreaker and sunglasses. Bath towels and hand towels are provided by the tour. 
 
Remarks about tattoos : At the hot spring we use for this tour does not accept those who have tattoos on their entire body or who have tattoos that may have an intimidating impression such as skulls, but it is okay to some extent. Please consult us if you have any questions or concerns.

    Pricing and Inclusions : Quoted Tour prices are per person. Prices include Professional English Speaking Guide and Transportation after meeting tour guide. Meals (Dinner, Breakfast) at hotels in Tateyama station area may be included depending on availability of meal package. For those who chose to stay at a hotel near Tateyama station must pay transportation charges (from Dentetsu Toyama station to Tateyama station) on their own. Prices also include programming, planning and operational charges and are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes in effect at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change Tour prices to cover changing costs, tariffs, taxes. Breakdown in the price of the tour or its parts are not available. Unless mentioned by our agent at the time of inquiry, the prices shown are the prices you will be charged.


    Exclusions : Quoted tour prices exclude trip insurance, transportation to tour pick-up location (if needed), transportation from Dentetsu Toyama Station to Tateyama Station for those who stay at a hotel near Tateyama Station, Meals (if meal options at hotel were not selected), personal expenses such as buying souvenirs, and optional activities at locations you visit (which are subject to availability).

  • Weather and Tour Itinerary

    • Murodo, the main tourist destination for this tour, is subject to bad weather due to its high altitude of 8038 ft (2450m). 

    • If it is known by the day before that the tour can not go to Murodo due to the weather condition, paid amount excluding the hotel fee can be refunded. In that case, please be assured that it is possible to use the accommodation portion of the tour only in Toyama. If you wish, your guide can switch Murodo to another sightseeing point at Mt.Tateyama such as Midagahara, Shomyotaki Waterfall, and/or Museum instead of Murodo, so please consult with your tour guide. 

    • There will be no refund if the condition changes on the day of the tour after arrival at Murodo, and the stay time in the Murodo is changed. If you decide to visit another tourist destination after shortening the stay time in Murodo, or if you want to go sightseeing beyond the cost of the originally planned tour, additional payment may be required. While it may be possible to partially refund the tour fee, there may be additional payments required. It is possible to shorten your stay time in Mt.Tateyama area and add sightseeing in Toyama City, but in that case as well, you may need to pay additional entrance fees and transportation expenses. 

    • Tourist attractions in Toyama City include the Prefectural Museum of Art, Rakusuitei Museum, Kansui Park, Observation Tower at the city hall, Toyama Castle Park, Sogawa Shopping street and other attractions in the area. 

    • If you have an extra night in Toyama and stay for two nights (or more), if guide's and your time permits, you may choose to go to Murodo on the third day if the weather on Tateyama is expected better on the third day than on the second day.

    Tour Schedule : Pick-up time varies depending on the location of the hotel. Sightseeing spots may be changed depending on the conditions of the day. During times when there are many tourists, it may take extra time to reach the next spot, and may reduce time for sightseeing. Depending on the weather condition at Murodo area, stay time at Murodo may be reduced and your tour guide may suggest alternate sightseeing options.

     

    Tour Pick-up Locations: Meet tour guide at hotel Lobby for hotels in Toyama station area, or in front of Tateyama station for hotels in Tateyama station area.

     

    Child Discount : Children between 5 and 11 years get a child discount. Please see the price chart. Children up to 4 years old may join free of charge, but the maximum number of free children may be limited by the number of paid participants.

     

    Tour Deviation: In the event tour participants request deviation from the tour, or end the tour during the tour, or head back to hotel during the tour, the guide may or may not be able to take you to the location where the participant requests. In such cases, no full or partial refund will be made. Tour ending time cannot be extended in any cases.
