Japan Experience 11 Days


Intro: Great for travelers who wish to get out there and experience the tradition and culture. This program will include Origami Lessons (Paper Art), Kimono Wearing, Zen Meditation, Traditional Tea Ceremony and more! This will also include a night at the Ryokan (Traditional Japanese Inn) with full course dinner.



Day1    Tokyo    Arrive at Narita International Airport, Transfer to Hotel in Tokyo on your own.
Day2    Tokyo    Private guided sightseeing in Tokyo. Locations will include: Tsukiji Outer Market, Asakusa Kannon Temple, Meiji Shrine and Harajuku. You will also participate in Origami Lessons (Paper Art)
Day3    Tokyo    Private guided sightseeing in Tokyo. Locations will include: Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Akihabara Shopping District and Ginza District. You will also get to participate Sushi-making class.
Day4    Tokyo→Hakone→Tokyo    Private guided sightseeing tour of Hakone. Locations will include: Owakudani Boiling Valley, Hakone Ropeway and Pleasure Boat at Lake Ashi. You will also participate in Yosegi-Zaiku making class
Day5    Tokyo→Kanazawa    Transfer to Tokyo Station with your guide by public transportation. Travel to Kanazawa by Bullet Train. Upon your arrival at Kanazawa, start a short sightseeing trip in the city. Locations will include: Kenrokuen Garden, Nomura Family’s Samurai Mansion and strolling Higashi-chaya gai.
Day6    Kanazawa→Shiarakawa go→Takayama    Private guided sightseeing in Shirakawago and Takayama. Locations will include: Ruin of Ogimachi Castle and its observation deck, Gassho-style house and Takayama Yatai Kaikan (Festival Floats Exhibition Hall) 
Day7    Takayama→Kyoto    Half-day guided sightseeing in Takayama. Locations will include: Morning market, Sanmachi Traditional Building Preservation Area and Takayama Jinya. After the tour, transfer to Kyoto by Bullet Train
Day8    Kyoto    Private guided sightseeing in Kyoto. Locations will include: Nijo Castle, Ryoanji Temple, Kinkakuji Temple and Heian Shrine. You will also have a chance to try out Japanese Kimonos!
Day9    Kyoto    Private guided sightseeing in Kyoto Locations will include: Kiyomizudera Temple, Ninen-Zaka & Sannen-Zaka slope, Gion District and Fushimi Inari Shrine
Day10    Kyoto→Nara→Kyoto    Private guided sightseeing in Nara. Location will include: Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Grand Shrine and visit Gion District to enjoy traditional shows such as bunraku and kyogen
Day11    Kyoto→Fly back home    Transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX) on your own.

Hotel: Tokyo (4 Nights), Kanazawa (1 Night), Takayama (1 Night), Kyoto (4 Nights)

Guide: English-speaking guide on Day 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9

Transport: Public transport system, such as local train, metro and public bus.

Meals: 10 breakfasts at the hotels, 3 Lunches (Day 3, 6 and 7) and 1 dinner at Ryokan

Luggage Delivery: From Tokyo to Kyoto (1 Piece per person), 2 nights delivery.
