Overview

Tour Duration: 1 day
Departure Point: Sunrise Tours Desk (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit)
Departure Time: 8:30 AM (arrive by 8:20 AM)
Return Location: Kyoto Station or selected hotels in Kyoto
Guide: National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter
Meal: Set menu lunch (vegetarian option available upon request)
Included: Admission fees, transportation, and lunch

Reception Method:
Show your reservation confirmation sheet or email (either printout or digital) at reception.

Operation Conditions:
If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met 4 days before the tour, the tour may be canceled.

Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee:
-The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on Mondays (or the next day if Monday is a holiday), and the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. If the closed day falls on the 25th, Nishi Hongan-ji Temple will be visited.
-Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December (closed the following day if Tuesday is a holiday). In such cases, the tour will visit Ryoan-ji Temple instead.
-The order of activities may change depending on traffic and road conditions.
-Participants will walk approximately 15 minutes to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine from the parking lot.

Meals:
Lunch is a set menu meal. Note: Vegetarian meals must be requested at the time of booking.
Halal, gluten-free, or other special dietary requests cannot be accommodated.

Transportation:
The tour will primarily use Teisan Kanko Bus Co., Ltd. (or other companies depending on availability). Depending on the number of participants, transportation may vary between a large bus, mid-size bus, small bus, or hired car.

◈8:30 AM: Depart from Sunrise Tours Desk (Kyoto Station)

Meet at Sunrise Tours Desk across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit.

◈Nijo Castle (50 min)

Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its Ninomaru Palace.

*Note: The tour will not enter the Honmaru Palace or Painting Gallery.

◈Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 min)

Visit the Golden Pavilion, one of Kyoto's most iconic sites, surrounded by a serene pond.

◈Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 min)

Visit the former residence of the Imperial family.

*Note: On closed days, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead.

◈Lunch (60 min)

Enjoy a set menu lunch.

*Note: Vegetarian option available if requested at booking.

◈Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (30 min)

Visit the head shrine of 40,000 Inari shrines in Japan, known for its red Senbon Torii gates.

◈Sanjusangen-do Temple (30 min)

Explore the world's longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Kannon.

◈Kiyomizu-dera Temple (70 min)

Take in panoramic views of Kyoto from this UNESCO World Heritage Site and stroll through the historic shopping lane.

◈5:30-6:30 PM: Drop-off at Kyoto Station or selected hotels

Participants will be dropped off at Kyoto Station or their hotels.

The cancellation policy for the tour is as follows:

Reception of the deposit until 30 days before departure - non-refundable deposit
30 days – 16 days before departure – 50% of the total tour fee
15 days – 8 days before departure – 80% of the total tour fee
7 days before – day of departure – 100% of the total tour fee
No show/After the tour begins – 100% of the total tour fee
