IACE tour of The Amazing “Snow Wall” Japan Tour take you to a traditional Japanese atmosphere in the countryside, where friendly locals will welcome you. The unique and amazing Alpine route, famous for the high snow wall that line the roads, will absolutely astound anyone.
Tour Highlights :
TATEYAMA KUROBE ALPINE ROUTE.
A 22.9 miles long mountain route with a spectacular scenery between Tateyama, Toyama, Omachi and Nagano. To travel through the route , it takes 7 different transports with 5 different modes,namely funicular, bus,trolleybus,aerial tramway and walking. The Alpine Route going through the Japan Alps is not only unique and spectacular, but also famous for the high snow walls that line some of the roads in Spring. The snow wall can reach up to 65feet tall and is the highlight during spring.
The route has been built very carefully, so as not to damage the nature around Tateyama of Hida Mountains, including the Kurobe Dam, This arch shaped dam is 610ft in height, and 1614ft in length and is the largest dam in Japan.
SHIRAKAWA GO
The village of SHIRAKAWA GO, a historic village, famous for the farm houses, built in a very unique architectural style called Gassho. The oldest one was built more than 300 years ago.
SHIRAKAWA GO GASSHOZUKURI Village is most famous out of hundreds of houses which still remains from historic times. The area has been registered as cultural heritage site, and received Michelin 3 star sightseeing spot.
KENROKU-EN
One of Japan's three most famous garden, and is registered as Japanese National Historical Heritage, and the garden was also rated higher to a National Site of Special Scenic Beauty, which is equivalent to a National Treasure.
Kenroku-en means a garden combining six attributes. Six attributes are spaciousness & seclusion, artifice & antiquity, water courses and panoramas.
For a garden to have 3 or 4 attributes is very difficult, and to have all six in one garden is a prefect garden.
The garden has strolling style landscape, incorporating unique designs with ponds, hills, cottages, tea houses, and streams connecting several ponds,hills and tree to achieve a perfect scenery for every season.

Enjoy many kinds of vehicle ride in Mt. Kurobe.
9:15 am Take highland bus to Murodo (20min).
*Take Group Picture with Huge Snow Wall
10:30 am Trolley bus in Tateyama tunnel to Daikanho (10min).
Tateyama Ropeway to Kurobe Daira (7min).
Kurobe Cable Car to Lake Kurobe (5min).
Walk to Kurobe Dam (15min).
Kanden Trolley bus to Ogisawa (16min).
Lunch at rest house on your own.
Board motor coach and proceed to hotel in Matsumoto (Ogisawa - Matsumoto: 1H30M).

6:00 pm Arrive at your hotel.
